Xmas Party Outfit Blogger Comp with FashionVouchers.com

Hello lovelies,

FashionVouchers.com are hosting another competition for the chance to win £100 of vouchers. All you have to do is choose one of their retailers and put together a Xmas party outfit for £100 or less.
I chose New Look because they've got some excellent reductions on their party wear and there's a great range. This outfit comes to just under £97!
L-R: Black Top £12, Faux Fur Jacket £34.99, Black Courts £19.99, Sequin Skirt £10, Silver Beaded Clutch £19.99.

I have a major obsession with sequins at the moment, particularly sequinned skirts. The colour makes this one perfect for the festive season. I think the black top looks quite sophisticated due to the lace insert and sheer sleeves. Don't even get me started on the fur jacket, I would love to own one, it's gorgeous. I finished the outfit off with a pair of classic black courts that you really can't go wrong with and a sparkly art deco style clutch. What do you think?

If you fancy doing this challenge too you can find the details via this link. You'll have to be fast though as tomorrow is the closing date!

Duo Blogger Competition

Hello Ladies,

I recently learnt that Duo Boots were running a blogger competition where you can win a pair of shoes or boots from their A/W collection. I really enjoy putting together this kind of post so thought I'd give it a go. If you'd like to check it out too you can find the full details via this link.

Now onto the outfit I chose:
I started out by picking the my favourite shoes from the website, which are these Grayson ankle boots. I love that they'd go with pretty much everything I own, so they're really versatile. I then added a blue sequinned Topshop skater skirt. Who can resist a bit of sparkle now and again?! I wanted to keep the top simple, so have chosen a plain black top from River Island with a zip detail at the back. I finished off with a belt and necklace from Asos.

This is the kind of outfit that I'd wear for various occasions, especially during the Christmas period. I think it'd be good for going out for meals and the top could be changed to something lighter for a more day time look.

Let me know what you think and leave me links if you decide to do an entry too!

BooHoo Blogger Challenge

I was recently contacted by FashionVouchers.com about this challenge in which you have to put together an outfit for £50 or under using items from BooHoo.com. After completing my first blogger challenge last week, I've got a taste for it and was raring to go!
Glasses £8. Blouse £15. Skirt £10. Wedges £15.
Finding an outift for under £50 was surprisingly easy as things are so reasonable on BooHoo.com. I started off by picking the shoes. I've seen the flat version of these on a lot of blogs, but the wedges are new to me and I adore them. Teamed with the skater skirt, in my favourite colour way for winter, the blouse and the geek chich glasses, this is a really cute smart-casual outfit.

House Of Fraser Blogger Challenge

Hello ladies,

Today I'm posting an outfit I put together using pieces from the House of Fraser website. They have a blogger challenge going on at the moment, so this is the entry I'm submitting (my first blogger challenge!). One lucky person will win £200 worth of HOF vouchers as the prize. For more details read their blog post telling you how to enter.
This is what I'd wear as a kind of smart casual, everyday outfit during the winter months. I picked out the jumper first as I seem to be drawn to cosy jumpers like this racoon one, he's so cute! Then I picked out the boots - I can't resist a good pair of riding boots and they look great with skinny jeans. The bag is really spacious looking for all the stuff I lug around, but at the same time it's quite structured and smart looking. Of course I had to add the umbrella, this is Britain after all!
