Sunday Summary - 17th Feb 2013 - Driving.

Hello lovelies,

Just a quick one. It's been a while since my last SS but things are much the same, I hope that you're all well too!

I've applied for my provisional license this week which means I now need to find a good instructor. I'm not really sure how to go about learning to drive. We've had a quote for how much it will cost to put me on my mum's insurance so I can practice with her, but obviously I'll need proper lessons too. I was thinking I would have a few until I get comfortable with the basics then just practice practice practice as much as poss with family and then pick the lessons back up to do a mix of both. I don't know really because I think it's one of those things you might have to just do to find out how it's going to go. I'd love to hear how you went about it? Comment me below! I'd love to be driving by the summer but maybe that's a bit ambitious?!

  1. Well I think your plans are good because when u learn the basics, practicing with family will save you so much money. Then you go back to the instructer so he can get you ready for the practical. It's good that you have that goal, hopefully you'll be driving around by summer.
    Good luck :-)

  3. Good luck with learning to drive! My best advice would be not to rush it... take your time and if it takes you longer than you expected then that's OK. I know SO many people who took their tests too early and it took most of them three (very expensive) attempts to pass. I had a mix of lessons and going out in my mum's car too, so I think your plan will work just fine :)

  5. Learning to drive is such a big step but you'll be surprised how easily you'll pick it up. I had a block of 10 lessons then practiced with my family and then a few more lessons before my test.
Good Luck, let us know how it's going :)

I've nominated you for the Liebster blog award, check out my blog for details :)
